Riverside was a prominent name on this year’s Special District 6 all-league team.

Pirates senior forward Ulises Lopez was named Player of the Year, and his coach Francisco Velazquez received the Coach of the Year honors. Six of Lopez’s teammates were named to the SD-6 first team.

Riverside enjoyed a successful season, ranking at No. 5 in the district and making it all the way to the semifinals before falling to Oregon Episcopal on Nov. 6.
