Special Olympics Oregon and Hermiston LP 510 invite those qualified to join the Special Olympics.

In order to participate, children ages 8 and above must be diagnosed with a intellectual or cognitive disability by a medical professional.

To be eligible for Hermiston’s only fall sport, bowling, athletes must have a medical release and registration paperwork completed and turned in by September 5.

There is no fee to join.

Athletes will practice once a week for eight weeks and must be able to compete in state and regional competitions.
