The Hermiston baseball team continued its hot start to Columbia River Conference play by beating Hood River Valley 7-4 Tuesday in Hood River.
Sophomore left-hander RJ Robles lasted less than an inning on the mound, but seniors Sean Smith and Nychal Gritz picked him up, and the Bulldogs prevailed for the win.
