The Hermiston girls basketball team went ice cold from the field Friday, falling to Lewiston (Idaho) 50-36 in Lewiston.

Maloree Moss scored 10 to lead the way for the Dawgs. Hermiston shot 11 of 50 from the floor, which isn’t going to win a game no matter who the opponent is.

Heidi Walchli chipped in nine points while sister Courtey scored eight. The Dawgs were able to scored just six points in the final quarter,

For Lewiston, Tisha Phillips scored a game-high 13 points while Karlee Wilson poured in 10. Savannah Blinn, one of Lewiston’s 6-foot-3 posts, scored nine and controlled the paint for her club with a game-high six blocked shots.
