10:50 a.m. — Hermiston police received a report of child abuse or neglect.

5:44 p.m. — Stanfield police responded to a report of a burglary on West Furnish Avenue, Stanfield.

10:58 p.m. — Umatilla police responded to a report of an assault at the intersection of Seventh and J streets.

Wednesday, Sept. 8

2:50 a.m. — A caller reported the theft of a vehicle on West Hermiston Avenue, Hermiston.

6:38 a.m. — A domestic disturbance occurred on Cecil Street, Hermiston.

Thursday, Sept. 9

9:03 a.m. — A Hermiston resident asked to speak to an officer about a scam. She said she gave $3,000 to a person who she thought was "friend" on Facebook messenger. This occured from March until now, and she sent the money via gift cards. Police took a report.

1:05 p.m. — A caller told Hermiston police his agency in Portland picked up several firearms in July, but while they unpacking firearms and taking inventory, his agency just noticed on Sept. 7 it was missing one ne missing, an M1 Garand rifle. The caller wanted to make a police report.

8:11 p.m. — Umatilla police responded to a report of a vehicle theft at Family Health Associates, 1890 Seventh St.

9:12 p.m. — A domestic disturbance occurred at Stanfield Rv Park, 345 S. Main St., Stanfield.

Friday, Sept. 10

2:03 a.m. — A domestic disturbance occurred on East Airport Road, Hermiston.

3:41 a.m. — A domestic disturbance occurred on Stanfield Meadows Road, Stanfield.

9:58 a.m. — A resident on West Johns Avenue asked to speak to an officer because someone stole his saw and log splitter. An officer took a report.

Saturday, Sept. 11

1:48 p.m. — Hermiston police received a complaint about stalking on West Cedar Drive.

9:30 p.m. — A resident on East Highland Avenue, Hermiston, reported a 17-year-old girl hit her husband. .

10:22 p.m. — A caller reported a disturbance and gunshots on Southwest 11th Street, Hermiston.

Sunday, Sept. 12

7:09 p.m. — Hermiston police responded to the 900 block of South Highway 395 on a report of an assault.

10:45 p.m. — A resident on West Tamarack Avenue, Hermiston, reported a scam.

Sept. 9

Hermiston police arrested Anthony Robert Jones, 44, on one count of fourth-degree assault.

Hermiston police arrested Rafael Bajonero-Nieto on one felony count of fourth-degree assault.

Sept. 10

Boardman police arrested Juan Carlos Ceja, 33, for first-degree burglary, first-degree theft and third-degree vandalism.

Sept. 11

The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office arrested Amber Marie Carlson, 27, for vehicle theft, first- and second-degree trespass and second-degree theft.

Hermiston police arrested Antonio James Sandoval, 34, for first-degree theft, computer crime, first-degree forgery and identity theft.
