9:31 a.m. — Hermiston police responded to a reported burglary on the 600 block of West Fulton Avenue, Hermiston.

10:33 a.m. — Hermiston police received a report of graffiti on West Marie Avenue, Police responded and took a report.

4:52 p.m. — A male told Hermiston police someone stole the license plates from their vehicle on Northwest Third Street.

6:55 p.m. — Umatilla police responded to a reported domestic disturbance on Polk Avenue, Umatilla.

Wednesday, Oct. 20

12:04 a.m. — Hermiston police responded to a report of a resident threatening self harm while in a mental or emotional crisis.

12:20 p.m. — Hermiston police responded to the 400 block of North First Street on a report of a disturbance.

12:46 p.m. — A Hermiston resident told police she may be the victim of credit card fraud that began in May. She also said now that her money is gone she is being evicted. Police took a report.

2:16 p.m. — Hermiston police responded to the 800 block of West Orchard Avenue report of a disturbance.

4:32 p.m. — A caller on East Jennie Avenue, Hermiston, reported the theft of a vehicle.

9:51 p.m. — Hermiston police responded to West Eskimo Avenue on a report of a domestic disturbance that resulted in an arrest.

Thursday, Oct. 21

4:p.m. — A caller on East Beebe Avenue, Hermiston, said a male driver in an older black Ford sports utility vehicle heading south on Fourth Street was threatening to hit a female in the vehicle. Police searched but did not find the vehicle.

5:43 p.m. — Hermiston police received a report of a resident on East Sunset Drive abusing a dog and threatening to kill it.

10:41 p.m. — A caller on Northwest 11th Street, Hermiston, reported her friend said she was going to kill her. Police responded and made an arrest.

Friday, Oct. 22

12:26 a.m. — Umatilla police responded to a report of an assault on Hemlock Court, Umatilla.

12:59 a.m. — Hermiston police responded to a report of an assault on the 1100 block of South Highway 395 that resulted in an arrest.

8:21 a.m. — A man asked Hermiston police to have an officer call his son. The man said two males in a older white four-door Nissan Ultima two nights earlier pointed a firearm at his son around 10:45 p.m. while driving on Highway 395. Police tried but did not make contact with the son.

11:17 a.m. — A mother told Hermiston police her daughter was assaulted by another school mate. The mother also reported she informed the school but staff told her to make the report with police as the assault occurred off school grounds.

2:32 p.m. — Umatilla police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance on Tyler Avenue.

5:38 p.m. — Umatilla police responded to a report of an assault on Eighth Street.

5:47 p.m. — Hermiston police received a report about stalking.

8:36 p.m. — Hermiston police responded to a person laying in the street at South Highway 395 and West Orchard Avenue.

Saturday, Oct. 23

11:49 a.m. — A caller reported gunshots on East Sunset Drive, Hermiston.

2:58 p.m. — Hermiston police responded to the 700 block of West Hermiston Avenue on a report of a disturbance.

6:46 p.m. — Stanfield police responded to a report of a burglary at the Stanfield Stor-N-Lok, 710 W. Coe Ave., Stanfield.

9:06 p.m. — The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a domestic disturbance on East Punkin Center Road, Hermiston.

Sunday, Oct. 24

12:20 a.m. — Hermiston police responded to the 100 block of West Cherry Avenue on a report of a disturbance.

12:53 p.m. — The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a burglary on Coppinger Lane, Echo.

5:24 p.m. — Umatilla police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at Sunset Trailer Court, 900 Umatilla River Road.

Monday, Oct. 25

4:52 a.m. — Hermiston police received a report of a vehicle theft on Southeast Second Street.

10:18 a.m. — A Hermiston resident asked to speak to an officer about a call he just received from someone stating he had some suspicious activity on his Amazon account. The resident stated he has been scammed and he lost money before so he wanted help figuring out if this is true or not.

10:54 a.m. — A Hermiston resident reported the theft of the $1,000 CPAP machine that was delivered to his apartment, and a neighbor said he knows who stole it and is willing to be a witness.

4:26 p.m. — A mother told Hermiston police her son's girlfriend's mother went to her son's work and yelled at him and followed him until he went back inside the workplace. She said she wanted to know what can be done if she continues to harass her son, who is a minor.

Arrests, citations

Oct. 21

Hermiston police arrested Carlos A. Gonzalez Orellana, 49, for failure to appear and fourth-degree assault.

Oct. 23

The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office arrested Christopher Rich Mollette, 48, for reckless driving, reckless endangering, attempting to elude or flee law enforcement and interfering with a police animal.
