12:21 a.m. — A caller reported a couple was arguing and yelling in a residence on South First Street and possibly throwing items.

10:27 a.m. — A resident on Southeast Eighth Street reported she believed someone was in her home and she was outside.

Wednesday, June 30

11:45 a.m. — A caller told police a friend went into a business and an employee pushed out the friend for not having a mask on even though she was fully vaccinated with the appropriate documentation of the vaccinations. The caller asked if there was anything the police could do about that.

Thursday, July 1

8:18 a.m. — A business owner asked if an officer could accompany her to her business because she was firing an employee for stealing from the business and was scared the employee might hurt her.

Friday, July 2

9:50 a.m. — A caller complained about scooters, calling them unsafe, and was concerned about people in wheelchairs not having access on sidewalks.

12:01 p.m. — Police received a call about possible child abuse.

Saturday, July 3

1:14 a.m. — A caller reported an intoxicated driver on Northeast Seventh Street.

3:13 p.m. — Police received a call about possible child abuse.

11:17 p.m. — A caller reported a male on North First Street was beating a female. The caller could not see what was happening but heard it.

Sunday, July 4

5:04 a.m. — Police found graffiti at Nutritional Services Inc., 475 W. Elm Ave., Hermiston.

11:06 a.m. — A caller at Bark Park, 1245 N.W. Seventh St., made a stalking complaint.

11:09 a.m. — Hermiston police responded to the 700 block of West Ridgeway Avenue on a report of an assault.

12:32 p.m. — Police received a report of possible child abuse.

8:36 p.m. — A caller complained about fireworks on Northwest 13th Court. The police department received 25 more complaints about fireworks that night.

8:47 p.m. — Police received a report of a domestic disturbance on East Pine Avenue.

Monday, July 5

1:21 a.m. — Hermiston police responded to the 1000 block of West Orchard Avenue on a report of an assault.

10:36 a.m. — Police took a report for graffiti on Northwest Overlook Drive.

10:44 a.m. — Police responded to a report of a fight on East Hurlburt Avenue.

11:14 p.m. — Police responded to a report of a fight on West Poplar Place.
