2:44 p.m. — A resident on Southwest 11th Street reported her ex texted her and threatened to kill her boyfriend.

4:39 p.m. — Police responded to three reports of a theft on North First Street.

Wednesday, July 14

2:59 a.m. — Police responded to a reported burglary on Northwest Crane on Liberty Lane.

1:03 p.m. — A man asked to speak to police about a woman who took $20 from him and he wanted to know how to get his money back.

11:34 p.m. — A resident on Northeast 10th Place reported his neighbor was in her yard yelling loudly.

Thursday, July 15

1:02 a.m. — Police received a report from Northeast Aspen Drive of “a lot of people physically fighting.”

12:13 p.m. — A caller on Northwest Logan Drive asked to speak to an officer. She said she has for some time lived with the man her mother married, but her mother died and the man remarried, and the new wife wants her and her children to move out. They now are threatening to lock her out. She asked what her options were.

3:38 p.m. — Police received a report of transients dumping trash on Northwest Sixth Street and a neighbor had at least one occurrence where a male came onto their property trying to take recyclable cans.

4:09 p.m. — Police responded to a reported burglary on Northeast Tenth Street, Hermiston.

Friday, July 16

9:22 a.m. — Police received information about child abuse and took a report.

9:41 a.m. — Police responded to a report of a burglary on the 100 block of South Highway 395.

4:24 — A caller told police a male threatened him on a social media post, but the information was third hand.

6:50 p.m — Police responded to a reported assault on the 400 block of Northwest Eleventh Street, Hermiston. A caller said his 17-year-old brother was the victim of an assault and the assailants stole his phone.

Saturday, July 17

12:13 p.m. — Police responded to a report of a burglary on the 800 block of North First Street.

10:07 p.m. — Police received a complaint about fireworks in the area of East Ridgeway Avenue and Northeast Sixth Street. Police checked the area but did not find who set off any fireworks.

Sunday, July 18

1:22 a.m. — Police received a report of child abuse.

6:54 p.m. — A caller told police his mother died that morning, and his sister is harassing him about what his mother left him. He asked to speak to an officer.

Monday, July 19

6:48 a.m. — Police received a report of a vehicle theft on Northwest Second Street.

8:59 a.m. — A resident on West Tamarack Avenue told police his neighbor constantly calls police about his parked vehicles and he wanted to know why he needed to move them.

9:10 a.m. — A male came to the police department and dropped off several identification and Social Security cards he said he found this weekend in his backyard on Southeast Sixth Street

10:11 a.m. — Police responded to a report of a burglary on the 300 block of East Pine Avenue. Police took a report.


July 15

Police arrested Samantha Daun Irwin, 26, of Hermiston, on felony counts of violating parole and probation, and misdemeanor counts of second-degree theft, first-degree criminal trespassing, resisting arrest and second-degree criminal trespassing.

July 16

Police arrested Daniel Diaz Aime, 39, for driving under the influence of intoxicants (controlled substance) and reckless driving.

July 18

Police arrested Daniel Diaz Jaime, 39, for misdemeanors of third-degree theft and fourth-degree assault.

Police arrested Eduardo Godinez Garcia, 29, for property hit-and-run, driving uninsured, driving without a license and following too close.
