1:40 p.m. A man on Southwest 17th Street is concerned that someone is lighting off large fireworks in his neighborhood every night.

9:21 p.m. On East Newport Avenue, a runaway was reported.

Thursday, Aug.1

9:11 a.m. On East Beebe Ave, a woman called to have her son — who had an outstanding warrant — arrested. The arrest was made.

10:26 p.m. Between 20 and 30 kids were reportedly fighting on East Main Street.

Saturday, Aug.3

9:48 a.m. Unauthorized entry of a motor vehicle was reported on East Hurlburt Street.

6:19 p.m. There was a report of a fight on East Main Street.

11:04 p.m. A drunk driver was reported on Southwest Seventh Place.

Sunday, Aug.4

3:27 p.m. A male subject was spotted laying on the railroad tracks on North First Place.

Monday, Aug.5

12:37 p.m. A domestic disturbance occurred at Hermiston Circuit Court.

6:38 p.m. Six or seven shots were fired near West Beebe Avenue. The Hermiston Police Department later arrested a male, 19, from Umatilla, in relation to a shooting at a residence on West Cherry Avenue and Southwest Second Street (see page A3).

8:21 p.m. At Victory Square Park on Southwest 10th Street, a domestic disturbance was reported.
