3:29 p.m. — The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report a vehicle theft at Rogers Toyota of Hermiston, 80364 N. Highway 395.

Wednesday, Sept. 1

7:25 a.m. — Hermiston police responded to a report of an assault on the 900 block of West Lathrop Avenue.

Thursday, Sept. 2

7:35 a.m. — A caller on Sixth Street, Umatilla, reported two pit bull puppies rolled under her car and were yelping. Police were not able to make contact with the caller.

10:52 a.m. — Hermiston police responded to a report of a burglary on the 1200 block of Northwest Seventh Street.

1:04 p.m. — The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a burglary on East McKinney Avenue, Hermiston.

6:36 p.m. — A caller at a business on North First Street, Hermiston, reported six customers were fighting with employees.

8:01 p.m. — A domestic disturbance occurred on East Jennie Avenue, Hermiston.

9:41 p.m. — Hermiston police responded to a report of a assault on the 200 block of East Catherine Avenue, Hermiston.

Friday, Sept. 3

12:42 a.m. — A domestic disturbance occurred on Madison Street, Umatilla.

1:58 a.m. — A domestic disturbance occurred at the Boardman Marina & RV Park, 1 Marine Drive N.E., Boardman. Local law enforcement responded and determined people were arguing.

Saturday, Sept. 4

1:06 a.m. — A domestic disturbance occurred on West Orchard Avenue, Hermiston.

1:37 a.m. — Hermiston police responded to a reported fight on East Main Street.

3:51 a.m. — Local emergency services respond to Interstate 84 near Boardman for a vehicle in the median. An emergency aircraft flew one person from the scene.

8:42 p.m. — A caller at Driftwood RV Resort, 800 W. Kunze Lane, Boardman, reported a male with a machete harassed him. Boardman police responded and arrested a male for the misdemeanor of menacing.

9:03 p.m. — A domestic disturbance occurred on Northwest 13th Street, Hermiston.

Sunday, Sept. 5

2:23 a.m. — A caller at Wilson Road Mobile Home Park, 600 Wilson Road S.W., Boardman, reported a group of people running after a male, screaming and yelling. Local law enforcement responded, found the individuals were arguing and separated them for the night.

4:35 a.m. — Hermiston police responded to a reported fight on North First Street.

9:58 a.m. — Hermiston police responded to a report of child abuse/neglect.

6:40 p.m. — A caller reported juveniles the night before moved a cone from Division Avenue, Boardman, and placed it at Utah Avenue and Brandon Street. A Morrow County sheriff’s deputy returned the cone to where it belonged.

10:09 p.m. — Two males fought at Driftwood RV Resort, 800 W. Kunze Lane, Boardman. Local law enforcement responded, but no one wanted to pursue charges.

Monday, Sept. 6

12 a.m. — Hermiston police received a complaint about noise at Northeast Fourth Street and East Jennie Avenue.

1:53 a.m. — A caller reported a domestic disturbance on East Jennie Avenue, Hermiston.

5:20 a.m. — Hermiston police received a report of a domestic disturbance on West Highland Avenue.

3:36 p.m. — A caller reported a tall white male wearing a reflective orange shirt and a light gray ball cap stole a backpack and several items inside from the 1300 block of North First Street, Hermiston.

11:16 p.m. — Hermiston police received a report of a domestic disturbance on Northeast Willow Court.

Arrests, citations

Sept. 2

The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office arrested Carmen Lee Barnett, 31, of Hermiston, for fourth-degree assault and unlawful use of a weapon.

Sept. 3

Hermiston police arrested Taylor Marie Lynn Schneider, 18, for felony strangulation.

Hermiston police arrested Moises Salas, 31, for unauthorized use of vehicle, felon in possession of a weapon, possession of a stolen vehicle and violating parole.

Sept. 4

Hermiston police arrested Nathaniel Lejia X Rodriguez, 22, for menacing and coercion.

Umatilla police arrested Christian Jesus Ayala Licea, 20, for first-degree trespass, second-degree disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and assault of a public safety officer.

Sept. 5

The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office arrested Crescencio Carvajal Sanchez, 31, for driving under the influence of intoxicants and driving while suspended.
