12:08 p.m. — A caller asked to speak to a Hermiston officer about a scam phone call she received. She reported the scammer claimed to have her daughter. She spoke to her daughter, who said she was OK.

2:08 p.m. — A domestic disturbance occurred on South Highway 395, Hermiston.

2:44 p.m. — A domestic disturbance occurred on Elizabeth Drive, Stanfield.

3:12 p.m. — The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a burglary on Locust Street, Umatilla.

Wednesday, Aug. 18

11:58 a.m. — A caller told police she filed a report about juveniles in Hermiston’s Greenwood Park, 70 W. Beech Ave., who pull their pants down while other youths are around. She stated she was told to come back if she ever had any evidence on video, and she had some video of it happening.

1:35 p.m. — Hermiston police responded to a reported assault on East Airport Road, Hermiston.

Thursday, Aug. 19

12:04 p.m. — The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a vehicle theft on Highway 730, Umatilla.

4:05 p.m. — A domestic disturbance occurred on Stephens Avenue, Umatilla.

6:17 p.m. — Hermiston police responded to two reports of a theft on South Highway 395, Hermiston.

Saturday, Aug. 21

8:29 a.m. — The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a vehicle theft at Elite Heating & Cooling, 81343 Liberty Lane, Hermiston.

Sunday, Aug. 22

3:51 a.m. — Local law enforcement responded to a report of an assault on the 1100 block of South Highway 395, Hermiston.

4:53 a.m. — The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported assault at Short Stop No. 1, 32553 E. Punkin Center Road, Hermiston.

1:09 p.m. — A domestic disturbance occurred at Sunset Mobile Home Park, 900 Umatilla River Road, Umatilla.

1:55 p.m. — The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a vehicle theft on West Quince Avenue, Hermiston.

7:06 p.m. — A domestic disturbance occurred on El Monte Street, Umatilla.

10:34 p.m. — A domestic disturbance occurred on Olive Court, Boardman.

Monday, Aug. 23

9:37 a.m. — A man told Hermiston police he meets his ex wife so they can exchange their children at the Hermiston Police Department, but his ex was driving while suspended to pick up the children. He said the police department already provided video of her driving, but he still needed to make a report because it occurred at the police department.

2:29 p.m. — Hermiston police received a report of a burglary on the 400 block of West Orchard Avenue.

5:31 p.m. — A man told police his ex wife lives on Northeast 13th Street and has his belongings, including his .22-caliber rifle. He asked about options for getting back his possessions.

Arrest, citations

Aug. 17

Hermiston police arrested Alan James Griffin, 42, for third-degree escape, violating a stalking order and violating probation.

Aug. 19

Hermiston police arrested Harold Lloyd White, 47, on misdemeanor counts of second-degree disorderly conduct, carrying a concealed weapon and menacing.

Aug. 20

Hermiston police arrested Jose Ivan Lombera, 27, on felony counts of second-degree assault and the unlawful use of a weapon.

Aug. 22

Hermiston police arrested Julio Juan Cristobal, 23, for driving under the influence of intoxicants and on two warrants for failure to appear.

Hermiston police arrested Aaren Antheny Rivera Barrera, 29, for violating parole, first-degree trespass, resisting arrest, giving false information to law enforcement and second-degree theft.

The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office arrested Clinton Raymond Downs, 30, for second-degree assault and hit-and-run on an injured person, both felonies.

Aug. 23

The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office arrested Horacio Deleon Trujillo, 68, on the first block of Sunrise Court, Hermiston, for DUII and hit-and-run involving property.
