8:30 a.m. On West Highland Avenue and Southwest 11th Street, a semi-truck backed into someone’s front bumper and continued driving.

8:44 am. A woman reported that her mother has stolen her identity. She believes that her mother used her social security number to take out a mortgage.

10:26 a.m. Last year, a woman received phone calls from an unknown number. The caller said they knew what the woman was doing in her home. She said the phone calls have started back up, and that the caller phoned yesterday and seemed to know what she was doing in her own house.

10:29 a.m. Someone received a scam call from someone claiming to be from the Hermiston Police Department.

3:09 p.m. A burglary was reported on South Highway 395.

5:15 p.m. A black car followed a woman driving from the 7-Eleven parking lot all the way to the police department. Her passengers were shaken.

Wednesday, August 28

10:03 a.m. A man with a dark-colored backpack was punching someone’s car on North First Street.

12:56 p.m. A domestic disturbance as reported on North First Street.

Thursday, August 29

11:20 a.m. An assault occurred on Southeast Fourth Street, when someone driving a white Jeep with a mule decal on the hood got out of the car and threatened to beat a man, swinging a cane at him.

4:43 p.m. Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle occurred on South Highway 395.

9:05 p.m. An assault occurred on South Highway 395.

Friday, August 30

2:29 p.m. There was a domestic disturbance on West Orchard Avenue and Southwest Seventh Street.

3:36 p.m. A drunk driver was reported on West Orchard Avenue and Southwest Sixth Street.

4:33 p.m. Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle occurred on Southeast Byers Place.

5:50 p.m. A drunk driver was reported on North First Place and Northwest 11th Street.

Saturday, August 31

1:10 a.m. Four kids were breaking things and jumping fences behind Harbor Freight.

2:38 a.m. Someone was reportedly hiding between Ace Hardware and Fiesta Foods on North First Street.

8:16 p.m. Four women were fighting near Northeast Aspen Drive.

9:11 p.m. There was a drunk driver at Northwest 12th Street and West Madrona Avenue.

Sunday, September 1

1:41 a.m. A fight involving 15 people was reported on North First Street.

1:10 p.m. An armed subject was reported on Northwest 11th Street.

1:21 p.m. On West Madrona Avenue, a domestic disturbance was reported.

6:23 p.m. A domestic disturbance was reported on West Juniper Avenue.

Monday, September 2

9:31 a.m. At North First Place and West Marie Avenue, police were unable to locate a possibly intoxicated driver.

12:07 p.m. There was a loose goat on East Catherine Avenue, who has since been reunited with its owners.

12:09 p.m. Police issued a citation to a drunk driver on Southwest 23rd Street in Riverfront Park.

2:32 p.m. Someone reported that between midnight and 9:30 a.m. on Monday, their vehicle was broken into.
