• A Hermiston woman reported she has been getting harassing phone calls. The caller tells her he loves her and wants her to go to the bar (but doesn't specify).

• The driver of a Greyhound bus reported a fifth-wheel backed into his bus while at the Pilot in Stanfield. The vehicle took off headed eastbound on I84. 

• A concerned citizen reported 11 children in the back of a Chrysler Cirrus.

• A driver hit a deer on West Highland Avenue and wanted an officer to respond because the animal was still alive.

• PGG reported $1,000 worth of tools were stolen from a service rig.

• A woman reported someone was trying to open her bedroom window.

NOVEMBER 1

• Officers located a drunk driver near the intersection of Umatilla River Road/West Harper Road.

• Donald Edward Gilbert turned himself in on a warrant.

• Four residents reported separate abandoned vehicles in Hermiston.

• Walmart reported someone took a shopping cart out of the store and asked officers to view video and see if they could identify the shoplifter.

• A Ridgeway Avenue resident reported a single gunshot about a block west of his location.

NOVEMBER 2

• Officers arrested a drunk driver on Harper Road.

• A woman reported she was assaulted and had a Walmart money order for $485 taken outside of Stockmans Steakhouse.

• A Hermiston man reported his keys had been stolen and someone used the remote on his keys to start his vehicle. He was unable to locate who had activated it and called police for options.

• Benton County reported a deputy was in pursuit of a yellow Hummer crossing the river from Washington into Oregon.

• A Ridgeway Avenue resident reported someone broke into her locked vehicle and took miscellaneous change, a bank card and several packs of gum.

• A woman reported her car had been hit and run at Walmart.

• Kids reported being shot with BB guns while playing in a park.

• A fire was reported behind a residence in Umatilla.
