Anne Elizabeth Barnett was married to Philip Sutliff Lusted Aug. 20, 2011, in Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church in Hermiston. The Rev. Dr. Christoper Agoha, SMMM of Lady of the Valley church in La Grande, and Fr. Paul Mbatia of Our Lady of Angels presided over the ceremony. The bride was given in marriage by her parents, Dennis and Catherine Barnett of Hermiston. The groom is the son of Scott and Cynthia Lusted of Union.

Matron of honor was Katherine Martin, sister of the bride, of La Grande. Bridesmaids included Mary Barnett, sister of the bride, of Hermiston; Sarah Decker, cousin of the bride, of Madras; Mykael Mannucci, friend of the bride, of Hermiston; Melissa Van Wyngaardt, friend of the bride, of Post Falls, Idaho; and Abigail Martin, niece of the bride, of La Grande. Flower girls were Emily Barnett, niece of the bride, of Aurora, Ore., and Cydney Lind and Grace Lind, friends of the bride, of Hermiston.

Best man was John Bruene, friend of the groom, of La Grande. Groomsmen were TJ Dawes, friend of the groom, of Portland, Ore.; Jacob Dawes, friend of the bride, of Joseph; and Joseph Martin, nephew of the bride, of La Grande. Ushers included Thomas, Paul, John, Adam, Mark and David Barnett, brothers of the bride, and her brother-in-law Matthew Martin. Ring bearers were Andrew Martin of La Grande and James Barnett of Aurora, nephews of the bride.

Music for the ceremony was performed by Lisa Jones and Doris Pitzer.

A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents in Hermiston, with music provided by Dan Burns. The newlyweds left the reception on a Huey helicopter, and spent their honeymoon at Cameo Heights Mansion in Touchet, Wash.

The Lusteds live in Stanfield. Anne, a graduate of Hermiston High School and Eastern Oregon University, teaches mathematics at Hermiston High School. Philip graduated from Corbett High School and Eastern Oregon University. He is student teaching at Hermiston High School.
