To the editor:

I've lived here about 18 years, coming from the southwest Portland area.

I've seen this beautiful city grow from a smallish country town to a renewed city and countryside. My thanks to the city of Hermiston, crews from Umatilla Electric Cooperative, the street sweepers, parks and recreation, the construction crews and of course the brave men and women guarding our safety (the policemen and police women), Burns Mortuary, the Charles Burns family of Pendleton and the Joseph E Burns family of Burns Mortuary in Hermiston and our wonderful Lady of Angels Catholic Church.

Thanks again!
