Wouldn’t it be great if a part of the old fairgrounds site could be used by Hermiston High students for agriculture projects? Since the Hermiston economy is based on crop production and food processing, our students should be prepared to earn jobs in those fields or get further education at the BMCC irrigated ag program.

Hermiston area farmers and food processors are tremendous supporters of this community and I believe they would see the value in this program.
