More than two weeks ago I called 911 for an ambulance. I had come home from shopping to find my mother needing emergency medical treatment. This letter is to thank the paramedics for their immediate response and to thank the doctors and nurses at Good Shepherd Medical Center for the high-quality care she received.

When the paramedics arrived, they were all very professional, but one stood out, and I want to especially thank him. He quickly discovered her health issue and as soon as she was in the hospital he made sure that the ER doctors at Good Shepherd verified her health condition.

And I want to especially thank the doctors and nurses for treating my mother with kindness and compassion. She felt safe and secure under their care, and I am positive that it has contributed significantly to her recovery.
