With government constantly searching for new ways to generate revenue, one of the latest proposals to generate funds is a tax on sugared beverages - specifically soda pop.

The idea has been proposed at both the state and federal level. Although, currently, no bill has been introduced either in Salem or Washington D.C., that doesn't mean it isn't going to happen.
