Tina Marie Longhorn, age 43, known to her family “Teener Beener,” passed away on June 7th, 2012, after a long battle with Retts syndrome. She was born November 4, 1969, in Umatilla, Oregon. She came to Pilot Rock, Oregon, in 1971, and for the last seven years had been a resident of Amber’s Loving Care in Pendleton.

There will be no services. A private ceremony will be held for immediate family only. Sign the online guestbook and leave condolences at www.burnsmortuary.com.  Burns Mortuary of Pendleton is in charge of arrangements.

Tina was diagnosed with Retts syndrome at birth, but she was a very happy young lady and loved to camp and swim. She attended a special school for the handicapped in the ’70s and ’80s and loved to be around people.

She is survived by her mother Carol Longhorn-Burden of Pilot Rock, brother Gary Longhorn Jr. of Pilot Rock, sister Tamara Mae Hyder of Boardman, father Gary Longhorn of Hermiston and grandparents John and Evelyn May of Hermiston, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins that span from Idaho to Echo, Hermiston, Stanfield, Pendleton, Pasco and New York.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Travis James Longhorn, who died in 1987.
