Ray P. Gallon, 97, of Hermiston died on Monday, January 18, 2016, in Hermiston surrounded by his family. He was born on Sept. 26, 1918, in Fleming, Colorado.

He was a member of the Methodist Church for many years, and also a lifetime member of the Hermiston Elks Lodge. Golf, dancing and travel kept him active until his later years. He loved life, friends and being around his family.

He was preceded in death by his wife Wyoma and son Larry Gallon. He is survived by his daughter Barbara Lumaguip and son-in-law Ron Lumaguip, five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

At his request, no services will be held. Disposition was by cremation.
