Julius Faulstich

Julius “John” Faulstich, 83, of Hermiston died Saturday, May 7, 2011, at Regency Hermiston Health & Rehabilitation Center in Hermiston. At his request, no services will be held. Disposition was by cremation. A private family burial of cremains will be at the Hermiston Cemetery.

Mr. Faulstich was born Feb. 18, 1928, at Hot Springs, S.D., to Henry Edward and Margaret (Hill) Faulstich. He was raised in California and joined the Navy, serving during World War II.

After the war he returned to California and worked as a machinist for Boeing. He then worked for a refrigeration business and owned his own dance instruction business. He was an apartment manager in Stockton, Calif., until January of 2011 when he moved to Hermiston.

Mr. Faulstich is survived by a sister, Thelma Hayes of Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Gilbert and Ed, and sisters Wilma Binger and Evelyn.
