David Lewis Tucker, 39, of West Hollywood, Calif., died Monday, Dec. 20, 2010, at his home. Services will be held in Caldwell, Idaho, at a later date.

Mr. Tucker was born Sept. 28, 1971, to Lewis and Lena Tucker. He attended school in Caldwell and Middleton, Idaho, and Hermiston, where he graduated in 1989. He was active in track and wrestling, and played the trumpet in the marching and jazz bands. After high school he joined the Navy and served four years aboard the USS Truxton during the first Gulf War.

He made his home in the Los Angeles area for the past 11 years. He worked at Promises Rehab Center in West Hollywood.

Survivors include his parents, Lewis and Lena Tucker of Hermiston; sister Beverly Lemons of Walla Walla; paternal grandparents Virgil and Dorothy Tucker of Middleton, Idaho; three nieces and a nephew; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
