Alice May Stark, 84, of Umatilla died Thursday, July 14, 2011, at her home. A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 23 at 2 p.m. at Kingdom Hall (Jehovahs Witness), 440 E. Pine St., Hermiston. Disposition was by cremation.
Mrs. Stark was born March 1, 1927, in Sedro Woolley, Wash., to Carl and Randy Marie (Johnson) Mannerude. She was raised in the Sedro Woolley area and in 1946 she married John Wesley Stark there. They lived in Days Creek, Wash., before moving to Umatilla in 1956.
