HERMISTON — Megan Borns started to giggle when her dad, Ed Borns, who attended Rocky Heights Elementary from 1975 to 1977, pointed to his picture in the old yearbook.

"You look funny daddy," she told told him.

"Kind of like you, huh," he replied with a laugh as the pair peered at the picture from the late 1970s. Students and staff members, both past and present, returned to Rocky Heights Elementary to celebrate the school's 40th anniversary last week. The party gave people a chance to get reacquainted with old friends and reminisce.
