The road to the FIRST Robotics Competition World Championships was harder this year than in past years, but that didn’t stop the Umatilla High School FIRST Robotics Competition team from qualifying.

To advance through the season, the team had to place among the top-point earners at each competition. To qualify for the worlds competition, the team had to score among the top 24 teams at the regional competition in Portland.
