Oregon ranks 11th nationally in flower sales, with roughly $667 million in nursery sales, according to an Oregon Department of Agriculture press release.

Nationwide, wholesale floriculture crops amount to $4.13 billion. Oregon boasts 250 flower growers, down for the fourth consecutive year, who generate $137 million in sales.

Cut flowers in Oregon amount to $10 million. Azaleas led all flowers statewide, according to National Agricultural Statistics Service, with $13 million in sales.

Geraniums were a distant second with $4.7 million in sales, down from $5.1 million the year before.
