HERMISTON — Move over Madame Tussaud and make room for Rocky Heights Elementary.

Students tried their hand at creating their own wax museum in the school gym culminating a Raccoon's Den unit on heroes.

"This is a great project for them," commented Principal Dr. Richard Mack.

Students selected a hero and studied his or her life and accomplishments for a research paper, oral presentation and wax museum exhibit. Older students selected their subject from a list of historical figures they need to know for state benchmarks.
