Marlin L. Pool

March 1, 1928-Dec. 7, 2002

HERMISTON — Marlin L. Pool, died Saturday, Dec. 7, at his residence in Hermiston.

He was born on March 1, 1928, in Walla Walla, Wash. He was known far and wide for his trading of cowboy gear, such as bits, spurs, saddles, etc.

His hobby was to go to yard sales as he hardly missed any. He worked at various jobs from California to Oregon in his earlier years. He retired from Northwest Livestock where he worked for several years in Hermiston.

He will be missed by his many friends, besides Ruby Lucas and Bob Talbott.

At his request there will be no services. Disposition was by cremation.

Burns Mortuary of Hermiston is in charge of the arrangements.
