Hermiston Police on Tuesday arrested Mitchell Wayne Thomas, 18, 1865 W. Diagonal Blvd. on charges of riot and assault, stemming from an incident at Desert Lanes Bowling Alley in March.
Chief Dan Coulombe said his department received a call about 10:34 p.m. on March 28, indicating there was a fight involving male subjects inside the bowling alley. The fight was videotaped and several suspects were identified. Two of the suspects - Davion Benjamin Chalmurs, 21, 150 E. Jennie Ave., and Jerome Martel Price, 22, 63 W. Cherry Ave. - were arrested April 4, Coulombe said.
"Thomas was just arrested last night," said Coulombe Wednesday. "We had been pursuing him in Hermiston and were unable to locate him until last night."
The fight allegedly was between Chalmurs, Price and Thomas and at least two other males. The fight appears to have been gang-related.
"Some of the individuals have self-proclaimed gang affiliations," said Coulombe.
Thomas was lodged in the Umatilla County Jail on two $6,000 bonds for the alleged riot and assault charges and $5,000 for an alleged hit and run.
