HERMISTON — Nayeli Marie Jimenez, the infant daughter of Victor and Clarissa Tejeda Jimenez, died on Jan. 27, at Good Shepherd Medical Center at the age of 5 months from SIDS.

She was born on Aug. 27, 2006 at Kadlec Medical center in Richland, Wash. She lived with her parents in Boardman.

Nayeli is survived by her parents, Victor and Clarissa Jimenez, Boardman; grandparents, Eusebio Tejeda, Hermiston, and Irene and Leonardo Jimenez, Mexico; great-grandparents, Dolores and Ponciano Tejeda, Mexico, and Buel Taylor, Hermiston; uncles, Adan Tejeda, Hermiston, Nelson Jimenez, Jaime Jimenez, and Sergio Jimenez, all of Boardman; aunts, Sierra Wilson, Wenatchee, Wash., and Silvia and Maximina Jimenez, both of Mexico.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Angela Tejeda; and great grandmother, Penny Taylor.

Rosary was held on Tuesday, Jan. 30, at at Burns Mortuary Chapel in Hermiston.

Mass was held on Wednesday, Jan. 31, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church, Hermiston, Oregon.

Burial will follow at the Hermiston Cemetery.
