Umatilla County Elections Manager Kim Lindell is back in the Pendleton office Wednesday morning, Nov. 9, 2022, looking over ballots that came in the mail following a long election night.

Apart from a couple of problems, the Tuesday, Nov. 8, election went down without a hitch, according to officials in Umatilla and Morrow counties. Voting was about the same in Umatilla and higher than usual in Morrow, they said.
