When and why did you move to Hermiston?

I moved to Hermiston in late June 2017 to work as a speech-language pathologist at Good Shepherd.

What is your favorite place to eat in Hermiston?

My favorite places to eat in Hermiston are at my friends’ houses. They make really good food.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

Riding bikes, hiking, skiing, quilting, road trips, reading, swimming. ... basically any kind of adventure.

What surprises you about Hermiston?

It looks like there’s nothing to do here, but there’s a TON to do here.

What was the last book you read?

“I Left My Voice on the Dining Room Table” by Pat Wertz Sanders

If you could travel anywhere, where would you go?

Asia and/or New Zealand

What is the funniest thing that’s happened to you?

About five years ago a bird pooped on my head during an OK Cupid date, and my date never even noticed. I was just relieved my hair was so long that my one nice shirt didn’t get ruined.

What is one of your goals for the next 12 months?

To go on a gravel bike adventure and backpack in the Wallowas

What is your proudest accomplishment?

Deciding to uproot my entire life and move somewhere else just because, well, why not?
