‘Tis the season for holiday shopping.

A number of fundraising organizers take advantage of Christmas shoppers to gather groups of vendors to sell their wares at holiday bazaars. Offerings are diverse — everything from craft vendors to fine art and home-based business products.

Area upcoming bazaars. Admission is free, unless otherwise noted. In addition, if available, information includes how much it costs to set up a table as a vendor.


•Hermiston Christmas Bazaar at the Hermiston Community Center, 415 S. Highway 395. Saturday, Nov. 24 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. More than 40 vendors. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be on hand from 9 a.m. to noon. (541-667-5018).

•Our Lady of Angels Christmas Bazaar in the parish hall at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church, 565 W. Hermiston Ave. Saturday, Dec. 1 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Also, breakfast and lunch items available for purchase. (Maria Rollins, 541-561-1448).

•The Arc Christmas Bazaar at The Arc Umatilla County, 215 W. Orchard Ave. Saturday, Dec. 8 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (Deanna Plum, 541-567-7567).


•Athena Holiday Bazaar at Athena Elementary School, 375 S. Fifth St. Saturday, Dec. 1 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Hot breakfast and lunch available, raffle prizes, kids craft area, pictures with Santa from noon to 2 p.m. (April McKenna, 541-310-9557).


•Winter Market at the SAGE Center, 101 Olson Road. It features boutique clothing, homemade gifts, home decor, beauty products, jewelry, specialty items and more. Ladies Night Out is Friday, Nov. 30 from 4-7:30 p.m. It includes door prizes, live music and refreshments. Family Day, which includes a photo booth and exhibit displays, is Saturday, Dec. 1 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (541-481-7243).


•Holiday Bazaar at Echo Community Church, 21 N. Bonanza St. Saturday, Dec. 8 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Includes a raffle (541-376-8108).


•Artifactory Holiday Bazaar at St. Patrick’s Parish Hall, 525 Gale St. Saturday, Dec. 8 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Vendor space is $20. (Andrea Nelson, 541-720-4399).


•Art of the Gift at Pendleton Center for the Arts, 214 N. Main St. Nov. 23 through Dec. 31 Tuesday through Fridays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from noon to 4 p.m. (541-278-9201).

•Wildhorse Holiday Bazaar at Wildhorse Resort & Casino. Saturday, Nov. 24 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Photos with Santa, children’s activities from 1-3 p.m.

•Relay for Life Holiday Bazaar at Pendleton Early Learning Center, 455 S.W. 13th St. Saturday, Dec. 1 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. A portion of the vendor fee ($35) is tax-deductible to support the American Cancer Society. (541-377-3334).

•Eagles Holiday Bazaar at Pendleton Eagles Lodge, 428 S. Main St. Saturday, Dec. 1 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Lunch available for purchase. Vendor space is $15. (541-969-7783).

•St. Mary’s Bazaar at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 800 S.E. Court Ave. Saturday, Dec. 8 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Brunch, lunch and desserts available for purchase. Admission is $1 and includes one raffle ticket. (541-215-3464).
