Fellow students and helpful community members will host a spaghetti dinner Friday, Dec. 10, from 5-8 p.m. at the ARC of Umatilla County building on Orchard Avenue in Hermiston.

All proceeds from the dinner will go to Zailynn Mitchell, a young Hermiston student battling liver cancer, for medical and travel expenses.

Tickets will be $10 per person or $30 for a family of four or more.

Members of the Key Club are also participating in a Sparrow International project using volunteer help to raise additional funds for the Mitchell family.

Anyone needing temporary help shoveling snow, moving furniture or doing any other task may call either John Spomer at 541-567-6005 or Tim Zacharias at 541-571-5482 for more information on available labor or the project itself.

More information on Mitchell is available on www.zailynnsfight.hpage.com.
