Kathleen Kenshol

Feb. 28, 1936-March 21, 2003

HERMISTON — Kathleen Kenshol died Friday, March 21, at her home in Hermiston at the age of 67.

Kathleen was born in Missouri on Feb. 28, 1936, to Edward and Helen Shields. She moved to the Hillsboro area in 1975, and then to Hermiston in 1979. She has lived in both Hermiston and Pendleton.

She worked for Senior Champion Services for five years, and was a volunteer at the Agape House. She loved animals, including her pets: two cats and her small dog. She loved to do puzzles.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Kenshol, in 1982.

She is survived by two sons, Dan Kenshol of Hermiston and Chris Kenshol of Michigan; daughters, Tamara Allen of Hillsboro and Jana Kenshol of Hermiston; brother, Paul Shields of Ogden, Utah; twin sister, Carleen Jennings of Oroville, Calif.; sister, Linda Cole of California; and four grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, March 26, at 11 a.m. at the Olney Cemetery in Pendleton. Burns Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.
