Last week, Hermiston schools got excited about reading in honor of the birthday of childrens author Dr. Seuss and the National Education Associations Read Across America Week.
Schools featured door-decorating contests, Dr. Seuss birthday cakes, parent invitations, pajama days and a slew of reading activities.
