ERMISTON -- Elderlibraries, a senior citizen outreach program of the Hermiston Public Library, has been named a 2008 Regional Governor's Award recipient.

Elderlibraries began in 2003 and brings library books and other services to 12 assisted living facilities in the Hermiston area, said library Director Marie Baldo.
