HERMISTON — Hermiston City Manager Ed Brookshier announced on Monday the hiring of Dan Coulombe of Federal Way, Wash., as Hermiston’s new police Chief.

Coulombe will assume his duties on Monday, Oct. 1.

Coulombe is presently a patrol commander with the Federal Way Police Department. The 44-year-old Coulombe was selected from 54 iniitial applicants and five finalists.
