Hermiston Council gives Brookshier one-year contract extension

Hermiston City Manager Ed Brookshier received a one-year contract extension from the City Council on Monday, putting him under contract with the city through Dec. 31, 2013.

Brookshiers current deal was slated to expire Dec. 31, 2012. His contract also includes a one-year severance package.
