Local Girl Scouts are seeking donations for their 10th annual Me and My Prince Ball, which will take place May 17 at the Hermiston Conference Center.

Businesses and people who donate $25 or more by March 14 are guaranteed to be mentioned on all promotional materials including posters, fliers and tickets. Three levels of sponsorship are available and some include complimentary admission to the dance, and in-kind donations are also welcome. The donations are tax deductible.

“Since this is our 10th anniversary, we would like to send every girl home with a goody bag of little treats like tokens for a free dessert at a local restaurant or other small promotional items businesses may like to add,” committee member Michelle Kane said. “We expect 300 or more girls to attend this year. It’s an excellent opportunity to promote a business.”

Checks should be made out to “Girl Scouts” and mailed to GSOSW, Attn: Me and My Prince Ball, P.O. Box 1346, Hermiston, OR 97838.

For more information, contact Kane at 541-564-5985.

To arrange for a pick up of an in-kind donation, call Rebecca Sanders at 541-564-6404 and leave a message.

For more information about Girl Scouts, contact Brandi George at 541-667-9696 or email her at bgeorge@girlscoutsosw.org.

Tickets to this year’s event will cost $15 and will be available at 60 Minute Photo and the Hermiston Chamber of Commerce beginning April 7.
