HERMISTON — Entries are now being taken for the annual Farm-City Pro Rodeo Golf Tournament to be held Aug. 11 at Umatilla Golf Course.

The event will begin at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start and all golfers must be checked in at 7 a.m. Competition for 4-player, scramble format teams will be held for women and men. The entry fee is $50 per player and teams will be drawn based on handicap.

Members of the first place teams will receive a Montana Silversmith buckle or bracelet. Wrangler Western Wear, Justin Boots and Farm-City apparel prizes will be awarded as well.

Farm-City Pro Rodeo contestants entered in the golf tournament are eligible to win a $500 cash bonus, paid to the rodeo contestant on the team with the lowest score.

Long drive and KP contests will be held and lunch and awards will follow play. The entry fee includes 18-holes of golf, lunch and beverages. The field is limited to 110 players and applications must be received by the tournament committee no later than Aug. 10 at noon.

Entries are available at Umatilla Golf Course, RoeMark’s Men’s and Western Wear and the Hermiston Herald.
