HERMISTON — The class rooms will not be the only places with a few new faces this fall.

Several key members of the central administration will be gone next year or are considering leaving.

Chuck Rhoads, the district’s business manager for the past 10 years will leave this summer to take a similar post in the Newport School District. Sheri Gannon, the district Title One, ELAP and Special Education Coordinator is also considering moving to Western Oregon.

Her contract expires next month and she declined to sign a one year extension.

“It is kind of exciting, but it still makes you nervous making a job change,” Chuck Rhoads said. (For the full story see the May 29, 2001 issue of the Hermiston Herald.)
