HERMISTON — Evelyn Mae McKim died on Nov. 20, at the Good Shepherd Medical Center in Hermiston at the age of 92.

She was born on Oct. 26, 1914 in Beatrice, Neb., to Jesse and Noma Mundell Kear.

Evelyn married Raymond P. McKim and they lived in Casper, Wyo. They moved to Basin, Wyo., in 1941. Raymond preceded her in death in 1966. Evelyn lived in Basin until 1999 when she moved to Irrigon to be near her son. She moved to Hermiston in 2005 and has lived here since. Evelyn enjoyed sports, crocheting, dogs, cards, and crossword puzzles. She had been a member of the Basin Methodist Church and the BPOE Does # 31, Greybull, Wyo.

She is survived by her son, James Ray McKim, Hermiston; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband; and grandson, Carl McKim in 2002.

Graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 25, at 1 p.m. at Mount View Cemetery, Basin, Wyo.

Burns Mortuary of Hermiston Hermiston and Atwood Family Funeral Directors in Basin, Wyo., are in charge of the arrangements.
