College students seeking financial assistance from the Eastern Oregon University Foundation will apply for scholarships completely online beginning in September.

There are 69 different scholarships administered by the EOU Foundation.

Utilizing a new online portal, students will create an account enabling them to apply for all EOU Foundation Scholarships with one convenient application.

The process will be very accessible and easy to complete, said Melanie Noell, financial aid counselor at EOU.

Making the transition from paper to electronic applications is something the Financial Aid Office at EOU is planning to implement for other university scholarships in the future.

The annual deadline for EOU Foundation scholarship applications is Feb. 1. Online applications will be accessible via the main Financial Aid website at www.eou.edu/fao/.
