Eastern Oregon Mission is opening a thrift shop in Hermiston on Wednesday, Feb. 17. The nonprofit operates Martha’s House, which offers transitional shelter to families that have lost their housing, and Agape House, which offers Hermiston’s food bank, the school backpack program and other services to residents in need. Proceeds from the thrift shop will help fund those services.

The Little Treasures shop will be open each Wednesday from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Agape House, 500 W. Harper Ave. It will offer used clothing, household goods and other items.

Little Treasures will supplement the parking lot sales that Agape House already offers. The sale for February, originally scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 20, has been canceled due to snow accumulation. The next parking lot sale will be Saturday, March 20.

Donations of food and other goods to support Eastern Oregon Mission are accepted Tuesday through Thursday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. at Agape House.
