Victor Manuel Ayala

HERMISTON — Victor Manuel Ayala died Dec. 9, in Hermiston as the result of a pedestrian accident at the age of 12.

He was born Jan. 16, 1989, in Los Angeles, Calif., to Martin Ayala and Sonia Sandoval. He lived in Yuma, Ariz., where he attended school until moving to Hermiston last September. He was attending sixth grade at Armand Larive Middle School.

He enjoyed playing Nintendo games, football, track and soccer.

He is survived by his father, Martin Ayala, and his wife, Maria Pena, of Hermiston; brothers, Jose Luis Sandoval and Martin Ayala Jr., both of Bullhead City, Ariz.; sisters, Mayra Carolina Ayala of Bullhead City, Ariz., and Janet Ayala and Jazmin Esmeralda Ayala, both of Hermiston; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sonia Patricia Sandoval.

A funeral service will be held in Yuma, Ariz., by Yuma Mortuary, located at 551 West 16th Street, Yuma, Ariz., 85364. Burial will follow at the Desert Lawn Memorial Park in Yuma.
