Alice May Wood

HILLSBORO Alice May Wood of Hillsboro died on Jan. 26 of renal failure. She was 85.

Alice was born in Irrigon on Jan. 21, 1922. She was one of six graduates in the Irrigon High School class of 1941. Alice played basketball, tennis, softball and ran track during her high school career. After graduation she moved to Paterson, Wash., then to Hermiston in 1950 and in 1966 moved to LaGrande.
