Umatilla County announced three new confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Monday, bringing the county's total to 27 known cases.

Twelve previously-announced cases are considered recovered after not displaying symptoms for 72 hours, according to a news release from the county. One patient with an active case of COVID-19 currently hospitalized. 

Each of the three new cases had contact with a previously reported case. They are isolating at home.

Morrow County remains at 5 five cases, with all five individuals currently recovering at home.

As of Monday afternoon, the Oregon Health Authority 1,956 confirmed cases statewide and 75 deaths. 

There have been a total of 533 tests in Umatilla County and 40,045 tests statewide so far.
