The Herald online news archive includes selected articles, photos, features and obituaries dating back to March 2001. This archive is not intended to be a comprehensive database of the entire newspaper.
The Herald has a physical archive of bound volumes at our business office in Hermiston at 193 E. Main Street. These volumes date back to 1917. Local residents are invited to look-up items in these volumes at our office. Our staff can also research articles, weddings, anniversaries, obituaries and other newspaper features for customers at a rate of $15 per hour. We can then costs. Beyond that, the Hermiston Public Library has archives of The Herald on microfilm from April 1915 through 2003.
