Tuesday, Nov. 14

8:27 a.m. — A suicidal subject was reported at Northeast 10th Street, Hermiston.

1:38 p.m. — A suicidal subject was reported at West Orchard Avenue, Hermiston.

Wednesday, Nov. 15

8:15 a.m. — A suicidal subject was reported at South First Street, Hermiston.

11:29 p.m. — A person came to Hermiston Police Department to report that there’s a plastic bottle with pipe cleaners and an unknown type of fluid inside it in her driveway. She is afraid to pick it up and move it.

1:11 p.m. — A suicidal subject was reported at West McKenzie Avenue, Hermiston.

8:46 p.m. — A runaway was reported at South First Street.

Thursday, Nov. 16

2:35 p.m. — A caller on Yucca Avenue said she had been feeding birds in her yard, but her neighbor’s four cats have been coming into her yard and killing them. She wanted to know if she can shoot the cats if they’re on her property.

3:27 p.m. — A small blue pickup truck on Southeast Crestline Drive, Hermiston, was behind the residence shooting a rifle out of the window and heading toward First Street. Police Chief Jason Edmiston said the person was a 19-year-old who was trying to shoot ducks in the canal from inside his truck. He was turned over to the OSP Game Division.
